A Sprinter 170 we built for fly fishing and mountain biking in summer and ski weekends in winter.
Key Features
Interior: Adventure Wagon interior with Platinum Formica cabinets, hex panel faces and a Lonseal floor over Hushmat, Thinsulate and a birch subfloor.
Seating: Front driver and passenger swivel seats plus a 48 inch bench with removable cushions and a Lagun table for meals and hanging out.
Sleeps: 2 adults on three removable bed panels and a thick mattress that rest on the wheel well cabinets.
Purpose: One to two week summer trips fly fishing and mountain biking, plus winter weekends for skiing close to home in Truckee.
Kitchen: 60 inch galley with eight drawers sized for the induction cooktop and Instant Pot, a front loading Dometic fridge, a Ruvati sink with a fitted cutting board, a microwave cupboard and a hardwood counter the owners picked out. A flip down table at the slider door adds prep space outside.
Bathroom & Water: 20 gallon tank with a level gauge, rear fill and a rear quick connect sprayer for rinsing off bikes and fishing gear. A Dometic toilet is built into the bench under a flip up lid.
Climate: Espar diesel heater with an Easy Start Pro controller and two MaxxAir fans.
Electrical: Battle Born lithium batteries, a Victron inverter, Victron MPPT solar charging, Victron Orion charging while driving, 30 amp shore power and a Victron BMV battery monitor.
Storage & Exterior: Driver side garage cabinet for the electrical, passenger side cabinet for water and cubbies, a slide out garage tray on heavy duty slides and flush L track in the garage floor.
