Build Technician
Built his own RAV4 into a camper before he ever built a van. Works on every van we build, from CNC cutting and electrical to the interiors.
The Shop
A few years ago we went deep on lean manufacturing and organization. We wanted the business to sit on a solid foundation, not just build good vans.
It worked. Every van in the last two years has gone out on time or early. The shop is also a genuinely good place to spend a day, and clients tell us all the time how smooth things run on the back end.
That matters in a van business. We plan to be here a long time.

Kamper Vans started with a third generation finish carpenter and ten years of living out of vans. Cassidy learned cabinetmaking from his family and learned van life by living it. He knows what breaks on washboard roads, what you actually use and what a build feels like at 6am in a snowstorm at 8,000 feet. That’s what we build against.
We’ve stayed small on purpose. Twelve full builds a year means every van gets the same hands from first sketch to final walkthrough and every electrical system gets designed instead of copied. Doing things right the first time is how we keep the schedule. Every van in the last two years has been delivered before its promised date.
