About Kamper Vans

We’ve been building vans in Reno for 10 years. Over 150 so far, about 12 full builds a year and 61 five star Google reviews.

Kamper Vans started with a third-generation finish carpenter and ten years of living out of vans. Cassidy learned cabinetmaking from his family and learned van life by living it. He knows what breaks on washboard roads, what you actually use and what a build feels like at 6am in a snowstorm at 8,000 feet. That’s what we build against.

We’ve stayed small on purpose. Twelve full builds a year means every van gets the same hands from first sketch to final walkthrough and every electrical system gets designed instead of copied. Doing things right the first time is how we keep the schedule. Every van in the last two years has been delivered before its promised date.

The Team

Cassidy owns the shop and leads every build. He’s a third generation finish carpenter and runs every design and final walkthrough.

Dylan is our build technician. He works on every van, from CNC cutting and electrical to the interiors, and keeps the shop running day to day. He’s been with us since 2025.

The Shop

Everything happens in our Reno shop. CNC cabinetry, electrical assembly, water systems and seating installs. Customers regularly tell us it’s the cleanest shop they’ve seen and that’s not an accident. A clean shop builds clean vans. We are dedicated to focusing on efficiency and quality over expansion.

We’re certified installers for Victron Energy, AMF Bruns Smartfloor and Mobiframe, Adventure Wagon and Infinity Vans kits and Flarespace.
