A Sprinter 144 AWD we built for a family of five who spends weekends at the beach and on the slopes.
Key Features
Interior: Adventure Wagon interior in Charcoal with an upholstered headliner, Fenix Verde green wheel well cabinets with bamboo tops, black trim and a 2Tec2 floor over Hushmat and Thinsulate.
Seating: Front swivel seats plus three reclining Smart Seats with ISOFIX car seat anchors on the RRE Smartfloor rail system, so the rear seats slide forward or come out.
Sleeps: A removable three panel bed with a custom mattress that sets up over the bench for breaks from the slopes or the beach.
Purpose: Weekends in Tahoe and the Bay Area, weekday family hauling and a place for everyone to hang out between runs.
Kitchen: No fixed galley by design. Two Lagun tables with bamboo tops, a third table mount on the passenger cabinet and room for a removable chest fridge.
Bathroom & Water: 20 gallon water system in the passenger wheel well cabinet with a rear quick connect for rinsing off sand and snow, plus storage for a portable toilet.
Climate: Espar diesel heater to stay warm and a Nomadic X3 12 volt air conditioner to stay cool.
Electrical: 400Ah of heated Battle Born lithium, a Victron Multiplus 2000 inverter, 290W of Zamp solar, 60 amps of alternator charging with two Victron Orion chargers and 30 amp shore power.
Storage & Exterior: Orion roof rack with deck panels, a Fiamma F45s awning, American Backroads side steps on both sides, L track and garage lighting.
